How to get rid of a tires

Old tires can't go in your garbage cart, and dumped tires hold standing water that breeds mosquitoes. Depending on where you live and how many you have, you can set a few at the curb, drop them at a county landfill or transfer station for a small per-tire fee, or hire a licensed hauler for big loads.
